Medilosin-200

Aqueous solution for parenteral use. Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic with a bacteriostatic action against mainly gram-positive bacteria like Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Pasteurella, Mycoplasma, Campylobacter, Haemophilus and Treponema spp.

Indications
Gastrointestinal and respiratory infection caused by for tylosin sensitive microorganisms, like Mycoplasma, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Pasteurella, Haemophilus and Campylobacter, and Treponema spp., in calves, cattle, swine, sheep and goats.

Presentation
Aqueous solution for parenteral use.

Withdrawl Times
For Meat: 10 days.
For Milk: 3 days.


Precautions
Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to tylosin.
Concurrent administration with penicillines, cephalosporines, quinolones and cycloserine.

Side Effects:

After intramuscular administration local reactions can occur which disappear in a few days.
Diarrhoea, epigastric pain and skin sensitisation can occur.

Vial of 100 ml.

Storage
Store 3 years, dark and at room temperature 15 - 25ēC

For veterinary use only


Instructions For Use
For intramuscular administration.
General: 1 ml per 10 - 20 kg body weight daily for 3 - 5 days.
